Vegans and vegetarians alike may have heard of an accommodating restaurant to visit in Bellevue, called Bite Bistro. While the menu of Bite Bistro may include several vegan-friendly options, what you may not know is that the menu is riddled with foie gras.
Both Bite Bistro's regular menu as well as their Valentine's Day special include this diseased, so-called delicacy: http://bitebistro.com/menu.html  They've also included the option to “add foie gras to anything.”

Despite Bite Bistro's presumed regards towards vegetarians and vegans with their menu options, VFA's attempts to contact the establishment regarding the sale of foie gras have gone completely ignored. The ducks and geese who suffer on abusive factory farms, enduring weeks of inhumane force-feeding to disease their livers for consumption will not be ignored by the management of Bite Bistro any longer.

VFA is launching a campaign against them as the next phase of our Foie Gras-Free Pittsburgh campaign, starting with a protest outside the restaurant this Saturday.  Please help us speak up for the abused victims of this diseased delicacy by informing restaurant customers and the public that Bite Bistro is an unethical business that is supporting the extremely inhumane industry of foie gras production.
 
The protest will be Saturday, February 11th, from 6-8pm. If you are able to spare an hour or two to come out and speak up for the ducks and geese suffering on foie gras farms, it would be greatly appreciated.
